Meet the Chiropractor
Dr. Heiss
was born in O’Neill, Nebraska, and raised just 15 miles away in the small town of Page. “Growing up in small-town Nebraska was a blessing,” he shares. “It taught me the importance of hard work, kindness, and respect.” His personal journey into chiropractic care began after experiencing a serious rollover accident that resulted in severe neck pain and recurring episodes of vertigo. “Chiropractic care changed my life, and I’m dedicated to helping others experience the same transformation.”
Dr. Heiss earned his Bachelor of Arts degree with a minor in Athletic Training from Midland Lutheran College, where he was also a member of the football team. He went on to attend Radiologic Technology School in Omaha and became a certified X-ray Technician. His passion for healing led him to Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas, where he earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2009. Since then, he has proudly served patients in Lincoln, Nebraska.
With extensive training in modern acupuncture and a wide range of chiropractic and physiotherapy techniques, Dr. Heiss specializes in the “specific prone” technique. He also incorporates his background in Gonstead, Diversified, Extremities, Sports Medicine, Activator, and Zone Technique into his patient care.
An active contributor to the profession, Dr. Heiss is a frequent speaker at both local and national chiropractic conferences. He is a member of the Nebraska Chiropractic Physicians Association, the Acupuncture Society of America, and the Zone School of Healing.
Dr. Heiss and his wife reside in Lincoln with their four daughters—Isabel, Iyla, Sylar, and Carter. Together, they enjoy spending time outdoors, attending sporting events, and going to concerts.
